Materials

At MKM Offset, box and bag products are produced from recyclable, qualified paper materials.

Kraft Paper

Kraft Paper

Produced from pure cellulose or recycled papers, kraft paper is an eco-friendly and recyclable material. It is produced from pine, fir and spruce trees that contain long fibers in their structure. Kraft paper is water resistant. It is mainly preferred in the boxing and packaging processes of products in textile, food, medicine, cosmetics and electronics industries. Its original color is brown, but in case it's desired, it can be painted with white cellulose to have a white appearance. Known for being affordable and recyclable, kraft paper is an ideal choice for environment-friendly brands.

Chrome Carton

Chrome Carton

Chromene, a type of carton obtained from recyclable paper material, has the appearance of white cardboard on the outside and gray cardboard on the inside. Only the outer surface can be printed. Chrome carton is more affordable than American bristol paper and is ideal for the print of graphic works that do not require high-quality print. Boxes produced from eco-friendly chrome carton are mostly preferred by brands serving in the watch, jewellery, food, fair, souvenir and cosmetics industries.

American Bristol Carton

American Bristol Carton

American Bristol carton, which is mostly preferred to give products a high-quality look, is known for its glossy and bright surface on one side, and rough and matte texture on the other. It is commonly used for book and brochure covers. In cases where printing is desired on both sides, double-sided Bristol carton bags are available. Both sides of these carton bags are glossy and convenient for printing. Double-sided American Bristol cartons are mostly preferred for postcards or greeting cards.

First-Grade Paper

First-Grade Paper

Primarily used to protect products with high risk of breakage in the food industry, first-grade paper has one surface that is smooth and bleached with a white appearance while the other is matte. It is a lightweight, thin and transparent paper.

First-grade papers, which contain a high cellulose and low wood ratio in their structure, can be produced in different weights such as 55, 60, 70, 75, 80, 90, 100, 110, 170 g/m2. First-grade paper is preferred for printing processes that require high quality and readability due to its smooth and non-glossy surface. Therefore, it is commonly used for letterheads, book and brochure printing. Since they are not subject to any polishing or coating process, first-grade papers have a high recycling rate. They can be produced in various colors and prints.
